Fingers crossed...!

It's hard to believe that it was 4 weeks ago today that our entire world changed and we got to meet our little guys for the first time. And it's even harder to believe how fast those 4 weeks have gone and that it's already May!

An update on Jack & Luke's weight: it's hard to believe but they are growing out of the premie size clothing! Jack is 5 lbs, 12 oz, and Luke is 6 lbs even. They are getting so big! However, it's odd to think that it's all in your perspective: those are small sizes for babies in general, yet coming from 3 pounds, it seems so hefty to us!

But the bigger news is, since Wednesday, the boys were upped from 4 bottles/day to 5 bottles/day and as of yesterday were bumped up yet again to 6 bottles!

When I was at the hospital this morning, the doctor told me the next step, should they continue to do well, would be to up it to the maximum of 8 bottles. If they do well with that, then their NG tubes (tubes they are fed through that go in their nose down to their stomach) would come out and it would only be a couple of days from that point until they can come home.

So...it could be this week if they continue to do well!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I think it's too late for that... :o)
